Within the last few decades, benefits have slowly begun becoming less available to the employees. Many of our parents and/or grandparents, if they worked for a large corporation, had a pension that they could rely on in their retirement years. I recall in the mid-1980s entering the workforce and many people wanting to go to work for an organization because of its great benefit offerings; benefits, not pay! Today, few offer a pension and benefits (health and dental coverage) has decreased from the previous years.
Regarding benefits, what must an organization do in order to reduce the cost of benefits while providing good coverage for their employees?
