I’m trying to learn for my Business class and I’m stuck. Can you help?
1. Lewin’s force field analysis facilitates the effort to strengthen driving forces so that they are stronger than restraining forces for change to be successful. Assuming the restraining forces include fear of job loss, discomfort with changes in job, required training, and distrust of the organization or the project team. What driving forces might be added?
2. I have often said that the only thing worse than no data is bad data. I once had an employee that could produce beautiful Excel spreadsheets including all the advanced functionality. Because of that, she was often assigned projects that were presented to senior management. We soon found that her spreadsheets were pretty but the data was full of errors resulting from the incorrect use of Excel functions. You can imagine the response I received from management when I had to disclose the errors.
How might bad data impact an organization? Have you had any experiences with bad data?
